Hey there, I'm AZ
Hi, I’m Anneliese—Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), and WSET 3-certified geek. I started doing tours out of a deep love for teaching, but wanting to challenge myself and learn more along the way.
I’ve spent over a decade working in the wine and spirits industry, and what’s always lit me up the most is teaching—whether I’m leading a wine dinner, hosting a tasting event, or training restaurant staff. I’ve seen how powerful it is when people start to connect the dots between what’s in the glass and the culture, craft, and history behind it.

Meet Dagger
I'm Dagger. I really enjoy how wine connects history, environment and culture. Although I have not studied formally, I've been immersed in fine dining and wine for decades and have a deep love of Syrah and French wine.
There is nothing better than they way a bottle of wine can become a rich experience. When I worked in restaurants, my favorite thing was introducing people to new wines, and the stories that make them fascinating.
I also wear all the cool hats and make spritzes for AZ.
Dagger & AZ
One day, Dagger brought an Israeli Viognier to my Chardonnay blind tasting and we've been together ever since. We got married at Tablas Creek in Paso Robles.
We live in Durango, CO with two dogs, four chickens and a 9 year old math dork.
